You can literally see the difference between #biodiesel and our ultra-low sulfur heating oil. The CEMA team spent three days at the Connecticut Energy Expo at the Convention Center in Hartford last week promoting the benefits of biodiesel. The bottomline is this: we have the ability to lower GHG emissions faster than any other energy source since half of CT residents already use home heating oil! We can do this now and without expensive electrical upgrades. In the last year alone, we have replaced 17 million gallons of home heating oil in Connecticut with biodiesel. That’s the equivalent of eliminating the emissions from 38,000 cars per year.
