Placing Vapor Distribution Systems and Appliances into Operation covers procedures of placing a vapor distribution system into operation. Addressing the different system tests required for vapor distribution systems and appliances, validating the container, piping and regulator; how and when to make final connections, how to purge the system, appliance controls and safety devices and how to adjust the burner.
The Certified Employee Training Program (CETP) was developed by the Propane Education & Research Council to provide professional technical training to the propane industry. The CETP programís goals are: Encourage professionalism and integrity in the propane industry, Raise the level of technical competency, Establish job performance norms and create incentive for employees to improve themselves. The CETP program includes training materials written by industry experts and combines hands-on activities with written evaluations. Upon successful completion of each section the student will receive NPGA Certification. Class time: 8am-4pm
Students should bring the latest edition of NFPA 54 and NFPA 58 to the class as code books are NOT included in the cost of the class.
