Let's Help Needy Children Have a Happier Holiday

[Cromwell, CT] ICPA and it's 576 member companies are proud to announce it's support this holiday season for the Marine Corps Toys for Tots Foundation. The mission of the U. S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to needy children in the community in which the campaign is conducted.

During ICPA's December 8th Holiday Celebration, the group raised contributions in toys that exceeded $1,000 for the Toys for Tots program.

ICPA' President Gene Guilford said, "We are extremely proud to have joined with the Marine Corps and the Toys for Tots Foundation to help make sure as many children as possible have a happier holiday season this year. We are also proud of outstanding young men like Sergeant Al Meraz from the Marine Corps, who joined us at our celebration. Sergeant Meraz has served two tours of duty in Iraq and we thank him for his outstanding service to the country and our state."

Sergeant Meraz said in attending the ICPA event, "..his greatest satisfaction is working and talking with donors, such as our members, and seeing the eyes of children light up when they come to the Toys for Tots warehouse to pick up their toys."
